Japanese Takatori Chaire Tea Caddy by 14th Miraku Kamei

Impressive Takatori firing work by a master takarori potter, 14th generation of Miraku Kamei, chaire tea caddy. It comes with the caddy case and his sgined and sealed original storage box. Very good in conditino.

He was born in 1931 as the son of 13th generation of Miraku Kamei, whom the the Kamei family is the representative Takatori yaki klin. In 1964, he succeeded to the name from his father. He is highly appraised as one of the best Takatori potter and has been awarded many prizes. He was designated an intangeble culutural asset in Fukuoka prefecture.
