Japanese Mashiko pottery masterpiece, chawan tea bowl made by Shoji Hamada (1894-1978). This is deep tea bowl with everted foot, decorated with pale glaze and dark brown rim, partially dripped to the inside rim. It is excellent in condition and comes with signed, sealed fitted box. This work was auctioned in cristies auction in 2008. The catalog do not come with this work.
