In the Martha Gunn tradition this mid 19th century toby jug is popular with collectors. Sitting wearing typical 19th century dress she is holding a wide stick as a cane. I love the way her feet show at the bottom of her dress. Grey hair and is called Judy of the Punch and Judy characters,she is colorfully decorated and perfect. The jug is 9 1/2" tall. Condition is excellent.

A beautiful Flow blue "Windsor Wreath" soup plate. It has a leaf molded border with multi-floral blue on white design. Marked in blue with the pattern and the initials W&B. Excellent condition, the bowl measures 10 1/2".

A set of four Very Rare plates made by Goodwin, Bridgwood and Orton. The factory was in operation only from 1827-1829. The pattern is Oriental Flower Garden, and the plates have shades of light and dark blues on a white ground. The plates have the distinguishing detail of the rare printed marks and the name of the pattern. Age appropriate wear, one of the plates has two nibbles, but the condition is outstanding. They are 10" and should be in a museum.

A stunning J Kent Fenton blue and white pattern cheese dish. It has gold colored edging to the plate as does the lid handle. the base has the Kent stamp and the serial number. The dish measures &" by 6" and the lid fits nicely inside. Slight crazing commensurate with its age, 19th Century.

A wonderful Staffordshire figure of the princess Royal riding a goat. It measures 4 3/4" by 4". Both sides have hand painted detail and there is lots of spagetti. Great for beginning collectors. There is a small nibble to the base but nothing to detract from its value.

A beautiful pair of Flow blue plates C 1880, made by W.H.Grindley, with another mark CWS Longton. The plates are 9" and the center is a vibrant transfer with fruit, while the edges are a rich flow blue with delicate embossed detail, scalloped and highlighted in gold. Excellent condition made from a porcelain body, and these display very well.

A lovely Victorian blue and white trio, the condition is excellent C 1840. The transfer is a chintz pattern of birds and fruit and the cup and plates are fluted all round. The edges are highlighted in gold.

A rare early 19th century Staffordshire frog and newt loving cup. It is an allover lovely blue and white foliate decoration and stands 4" tall, the diameter is also 4". It has a wonderful verse to the front which reads:

A friend that is social goodnatured & free

To a pot of my liquer right welcome shall be

But he that is proud & illnatured may pass

By my door to an alehouse & pay for his glass.

There is a black and white spotted frog to the base and on both sides, and there is a simiarly decorated newt. It is in excellent condition.

These frog and newt loving cups don't come on the market often, and this is perfect for the frog mug collector as well as the collector of blue and white.

A 19th Century blue and white transfer printed chamber stick in the Pratt's italian pattern. This chamber stick is a jewel. It dates from 1840 according to the mark, and measures 6 1/2" by 5" and is 2 1/2" high. The candle holder has a firing crack at the rim, which does not detract from the appearance or value of the piece; I mention it only for accuracy. This has been well used and loved.

A beautifully decorated large polychrome English ironstone pitcher. The pitcher is 7 1/2" by 4 1/2" but appears larger. The decoration is vining flowers, morning glories, my favorite, and with two different hand painted sides. The pitcher is also decorated in copper lustre, and makes a beautiful display piece. There is a mark to the base and the pitcher is perfect.
