A charming french faience figure of a selier early 19th century probably from Rouen. Two sided, painted in blue and yellow, wearing a bonnet, and holding the salt above her head. The figure is dated 1792, but I think a little later than that. Standing 7 1/2" tall she is smiling and frowning depending on which side you hold. French faience is very popular and rare as pieces come up only when collections are sold. A charming piece for faience lovers.
