This item is a vintage French Cameo Glass atomizer base made by the firm of Val St. Lambert near the turn of the 20th century. Gorgeous lemon yellow floral designs on a stippled clear glass base, all acid etched cameo work.Signed in the ground and polished pontil “VsL”, probably with an acid pen. Rare and desirable!

We offer an intriguing piece of Rookwood Pottery history in this wonderful, Japanese inspired garden urn and underplate. The marks are 1886, and there are no decorator's marks. 1886 was the year that Kataro Shirayamadani joined Rookwood as a designer, and this pot has such incredible Japanese influence that we believe it could well have been designed by him.
