We offer one of the finest pieces of blue glazed pottery by Edmond Lachenal that I've ever had the privilege to own! A very large console bowl with an absolutely exquisite mottled blue craquelle glaze, over a simple, classic oval form with rolled handles similar to those on classic Gertrude Jekyll garden urn. They don't come any better than this one! Very large at 17 1/4" long x 11" wide x 3 1/2" high, with a net weight of 5 pounds 4 ounces. Condition is excellent, with no damage, repairs, or notable wear. Beautifully signed, "Lachenal". |
