This item carries the label of the firm V.A.M., which was owned by Giovanni Pinzan, Bruno Cimarosti, and Giovanni Andreotta during the 1950s, and may have been made by Ermanno Nason, who was working there at that time. In any case, it is a fabulously conceived and fabricated piece of glass, with four layers of color, and all sides facet cut and polished. It is simply stunning! The piece is huge at 14 ½” high x 3” square, and it weighs in at 6 pounds 10 ounces! Condition is excellent with no damage or repairs of any kind. The long dauber on the stopper is perfectly intact.
