| A great example of fine enamel work of the second half of the 19th century is represented in this beautiful oval broach, depicting a mountain lake scene with a castle and a sail boat. The frame is continental (800) silver with Austrian hallmark and maker's mark "KJ". The condition of the enamel is nearly perfect except for some slight hair-line cracks in the front and as well as in the back which is white enamel. The pin measures 1 7/8" in length and 1 1/2" in width. | |
