Large scale fetish carvings by Zuni Indian artist Andrrew Emerson Quam and his uncle George Cheche.

Thirty inches long single strand of olivella shell heishe supports the thirty carvings of birds, bears, wolves, mountain lions and coyotes.

They measure from 2 1/8" long to 1/2". All are in fine condition, no missing noses or tails.

Turquoise, abalone shell, jet, serpentine and mother of pearl are hand carved by these two older generation artists, both of whom are gone now.

The longest strand is 25", shortest is 19".

Strung by the Santo Domingo Pueblo Indians back in the 1970s, this is a beautiful example of real coral!

Two strands of bird fetishes hand carved by the master Zuni Indian artist, David Tsikewa, circa 1970. Twenty-nine birds are on each strand of super fine olivella shell heishe, 28" long. Plus four more birds on the matching earrings.

Each bird is carved with individual personality from shells and serpentine and coral. The "signature" carving is the woodpecker.

Also a silver tag with "David" tells us of the authenticity and that Mary probably strung this necklace.

All birds are perfect, no broken beaks or tails! Quite a feat for a delicate piece of jewelry over 40 years old!

Elegant gold earrings by Charles Loloma, the most famous Native American jeweler!

Two shades of coral and purple sugulite are set in 14k gold in Loloma's classic stacked style. Note the fine gold bar separator. The one inch squares are finished with 14k gold posts. Three staggered length gold dangles create movement and catch the light.

Total length is 1 3/4", not heavy.

This lovely example of the art of Charles Loloma is from a local collector who used to host jewelry parties in her home for Charles in the late 1970s.

Ten strands of hand drawn square gold beads by Santo Domingo Pueblo Indian Ed Aguilar, d. 2006. Ed was the only Native American artist to make the square heishe and no one is following in his foot steps.

This beautiful necklace is 23" long including the 14k gold cones and hook and eye. 49 grams of 14k gold.

Ed and his wife Mary were so well known for their square beads, they didn't even have to sign them.

14k gold necklace of hand rolled tube beads by Santo Domingo Pueblo Indian artist, J. Reano. The tiny gold beads are cut very narrow so they bend beautifully, looks like an Omega.

25 grams of 14k gold.

At 16" long, this pretty choker rides just at the collar bones.

Signature mark is the turquoise bead between tow leopard shell discs and one leopard shell at the center.

Hand crafted by a master during the 1970s, like new condition, never worn!

Very nice file work and cold chisel as well as cut outs.
