Traditionally woven on a willow ring, this sifter basket is 12 1/2" diameter by 3" deep.

Darleen is the mother of Raynard Lalo, Kachina carver.

Blue ribbon winner, Gallup Ceremonial 1985, lady's gloves are braintanned antelope, hand stitched by Veltha Dunn, Paiute/Modoc Indian.

Beautiful delicate stitches are decorative as well as functional. The antelope buckskin is soft as chamois.

9 1/2" from finger tip to cuff, 3 1/2" across the hand, could be worn by a gal with slender hands.

Navajo Indian rug in miniature by Rose Myer of Lower Greasewood. Rose is well known for her framed charts showing the plants used to make dyes. Included in each one is a tiny weaving on a loom, so it was natural for Rose to make miniature tapestries for us.

Natural soft gray and brown native wool is the background for a soft rose dyed with cochineal and a light green from yellow sweet clover.

This miniature Navajo rug is 4 1/2" by 2 1/4". Twelve warps and twenty wefts per inch is a fine tapestry weave.

A small rug like this can be displayed with miniature pottery to enhance both pieces.

Navajo Indian pearls, handcrafted silver beads are always in style! 72 beads are strung on fox tail with hook and eye closure.

Sterling silver sheet is cut into rounds, drilled for the hole, dopped into dome shape, two pieces soldered together then painstakingly the seam is ground and buffed. A specialty of Navajo Indians, this set is modern in appearance with no stamped designs.

Total length is 22". Each bead is 7/16" diameter, perfect to wear like a string of pearls or add an enhancer.

Handcrafted by Navajo Indian artist Philbert Begay. Signed.

The silver setting is 2" long by 1 1/4" wide at the bottom. The turquoise is 1" by 1/4". The bale is large and round, would look wonderful on silver beads!
