Our first Kachina carved by Hopi Indian artist Edgar Rogers of Hotevilla is the White Ogre! Carved in the traditional style, this wall hanger is 17" tall to the tips of the feathers.

One piece of cottonwood root is carved, including his bandana, with added snout, eyes and horns. Excellent feather works and an added hide cape.

Wonderful carving and skillful painting sets this Lizard Kachina apart! Our first Kachina sculpture from Michael Koiyaquaptewa of Old Oraibi stands 14" tall plus the 2 1/2" wood base.

One piece cottonwood root is carved right up from the base! The ruff, necklaces, side sash, breech cloth, legs sashes, concha belt, fox pelt and Moccasins are all part of the wood.

Added details include the bow and rattle, snout, feathers and bells and turtle shell.

The base is decorated with the lizard, Sun and corn plant.

Lovely Shalako Taka, the Cloud Person of Zuni Pueblo, carved by Hopi Indian artist Mike Roy George. The smooth cottonwood root has the pigments rubbed in and is then lightly oiled for a subtle finish.
