One piece of cottonwood root is carved, including his bandana, with added snout, eyes and horns. Excellent feather works and an added hide cape.

One piece cottonwood root is carved right up from the base! The ruff, necklaces, side sash, breech cloth, legs sashes, concha belt, fox pelt and Moccasins are all part of the wood.

Added details include the bow and rattle, snout, feathers and bells and turtle shell.

The base is decorated with the lizard, Sun and corn plant.

The Pot Carrier Kachina is bent over with the weight of his heavy canteen! This Kachina honors the labors of the women who carried water from below to the mesa top several times daily.

The canteen is carved wood.

Fred calls him the copy cat Kachina, as he imitates some of the bad actions of those who have misbehaved.

This Kachina stands or hangs 10" tall.

The Fox Kachina stands or hangs 9" tall.

The one piece cottonwood root carving stands or hangs 7" tall.

Kachin Mana is the bride of all the Kachinas and often kneels and plays the rasp.

Very nice size for a wall hanging Kachina, 20" to the tops of the feathers!
