Polychrome Pottery Bowl Margaret and Luther Gutierrez
A lovely octagonal bowl is hand crafted by sister and brother artists, Margaret and Luther Gutierrez of Santa Clara Pueblo. Known for their many clay slip colors on a dark gold background and unpolished finish, learned at the knee of mother and father Lela and Van.

Each face of the eight sides is a unique painting by Luther, clouds and lightning, Kachinas, Thunderbirds are repeated directly across the bowl.

6 1/2" diameter by 4 1/2" deep, signed. Perfect original condition.

From the estate of Gerry and Nelle Ashton, they purchased this at the Pueblo from the artists January 25, 1968. See the attached photo.

Buyer pays $20.00 for shipping and insurance.
