Multi colored horsehair basket woven by Tohono O'odham Indian Leona Antone circa 1987. This wonderful miniature bowl with lid stands 1 1/2" tall 2" diameter. The coils are about 18-24 per inch and the stitches are too close to count. Beautifully detailed with Papago Indian men and women standing by a saguaro cactus with their dogs, the sacred mountains are behind them. This is a very happy design!
