Aesthetic Polychrome "Texas" Pattern Platter
Lovely Aesthetic movement polychrome platter in the "Texas" pattern. The "just enough" enameling on a black transfer and Ivory ironstone work very nicely together. Measuring 11" by 14" and in wonderful condition with a few utensil marks, and with some "cabinet" rub to the back well and on the edge. 1 of the 2 could be a "kiln pop" since its black like the transfer. They are there, so they get mentioned and photographed. Also available, is a matching 6-1/2" water jug. Marked with impressed and printed trademarks of Brownfield and Son(s), Cobridge Works, Staffordshire, England. Impressed date of November 1879. Please inquire as to availability.
