Since we had to temporarily close our Manhattan retail store due to location issues, our warehouse will be open to the public on Saturdays from 10 am to 3:30 pm for private appointments with retail customers who live and die for fashion. Sheri Lane, our “illustrious” owner, has been working in the garment industry for the past few months in color and trend forecasting. She has been compiling an archive of vintage textiles and clothing pieces, that may not necessarily be wearable, but have such design details, that any fashion or textile designer would crave for their next collection. Expect a digital archive section on Matinee New York’s web site in the near future. Sheri, in her alter ego of being a graphic designer and photographer, can also produce trend books, textile re-coloring, presentation boards and a variety of design services for your company.
