This modern sculpture entitled "The Sentry" was created by "Brian McCarthy" of New London, CT. Brian is best known for "figural abstract" welded steel sculptures. He was born June 16, 1945 and began art school at age 6. He studied under Thomas Hughes Ingle (show at Whitney Museum in 1956) and was later influenced by Harris Rodvogin. Vintage car mascot, This Silvered bronze Ballot Trumpeter by Emile Edmond Peynot card mascot c1922 is in excellent condition. "Car Mascots" were used as hood ornaments and were designed by famous artist. This area of automobile memorabilia is highly prized by collectors.
