Japanese early 20th century bronze vase. The vase is in the shape of bamboo with branches and leaves done in high relief. A sparrow rests on one of the branches of bamboo. Beautifully and realistically done. Made by famous Japanese bronze artist, NOGAMI RYUKI (1865 - 1932). His works of art are exhibited at Tokyo National Museum and at the famous Tokyo Natinal University of Fine Arts and Music. Signed
