Japanese early 20th century bamboo basket. The basket is of tall and narrow form with beautiful naturally formed wisteria branch handle. Unsigned. The basket measures 20" tall by 8" in diameter at top and 5 1/2" in diameter at bottom.
Japanese early 20th century bronze vase. The vase is in the shape of bamboo with branches and leaves done in high relief. A sparrow rests on one of the branches of bamboo. Beautifully and realistically done. Made by famous Japanese bronze artist, NOGAMI RYUKI (1865 - 1932). His works of art are exhibited at Tokyo National Museum and at the famous Tokyo Natinal University of Fine Arts and Music. Signed
