A Japanese MEIJI Period man's tobacco pouch and KISERUZUTSU pipe case set. The pipe case and tobacco pouch are made of black leather in simple shapes. The pipe case and tobacco pouch are connected to a MANJU type NETSUKE with silver chains. The OJIME is also in silver with peony design. The black leather pouch has a black, silver and gold metal clasp in the shape of a fantastic dragon wrapped around an important looking sword. Japanese late Edo or early Meiji Period iron heron OKIMONO figure. He iron heron is wonderfully and simply done, standing on one leg. Unsigned and with no storage box. The heron stands 11 3/4" tall and 7 1/4" wide and 4 1/4" deep.

Japanese late 19th century HIRADO ware HOTEI shaped water pitcher. The water pitcher was very cleverly designed. The body of the pitcher is made from HOTEI's good luck bag and the lid to the pitcher is made with HOTEI's fan. The water pitcher measures 5 1/2" tall, 7 3/4" wide and 4" deep.

Japanese early 20th century large pair of Kinkozan vases. Each vase has 2 painted panels, 1 in front and 1 in back. Finely painted with great detail and expression. Panels are placed over dark blue background with overglaze gold decoration. Some of the gold decoration has been rubbed off. One vases has the Kinkozan sticker on the base and the other has only a part of the sticker left. No Kinkozan stamp or signature. Japanese Late Edo - Early Meiji Period TAKEDA actor doll. The doll has GOFUN (powder made from oyster shells) head and hands, painted eyes, cloth and paper clothing, armor and weapons. Great facial and body expression. The doll measures 12 1/2" tall and 9" wide. The stand measures 9 1/2" wide, 2 1/4" tall and 6 3/4" deep.
