Japanese early 20th century bronze crane family OKIMONO. The crane family consist of male, female and chick. The set comes with original black lacquer stand custom made for the cranes. The adult birds have areas on the stand set for them. The entire piece measures 16" tall, 18" wide and 26" deep. The male measures 11 1/2" tall, 3 1/4" wide and 9 1/2" long. Japanese circa 1900 bronze and mixed metal book marker. The blade of the book marker is done in a yellow bronze with a design of cymbidium orchid and a crab etched into the metal. The handle is done in mixed metals with the design of a Chinese general with a long spear standing next to a pine tree. Unsigned.

Japanese circa 1900 pair of silver vases. The vases have the design of chrysanthemum blossoms done in a wonderful chisel and low relief techniques. Some of the areas are gilded and others are done in Shakudo. Signed on the back of each vase, SEIHOU. ALso each vase has JUNGIN MITSUKOSHI stamped on the bottoms, meaning made of pure silver and from the Mitsukoshi Department Store art salon. Each vase measures 9 5/8" tall by 4 1/2" in diameter.

Japanese Meiji/Taisho Period bronze placque by master bronze artist Oshima Joun (1858-1940). The placque has the design of 2 carp swimming. The eyes are done in gold and shakudo. Signed JOUN SAKU on bottom left corner of placque. Beautifully designed and executed. Oshima Joun was professor at the Tokyo School of Fine Arts from 1887 until 1932. Japanese Meiji Period bronze pair of playing puppies. One puppy has one paw up on the other puppy and is playfully biting its ear at the same time. The paw touching the other puppy is attached to the lid of the cavity of the lower puppy. It appears to be an incense holder. The pair measures 6 3/4" wide, 4 5/8" tall and 3 1/2" deep.
