Japanese Meiji Period large pure silver vase with incised floral design. The wonderful design is beautifully and expertly incised by silver artist, YUKITERU. Stamped JUNGIN or pure silver on bottom. The vase measures 12" tall and 9" in diameter.

Japanese early 20th century silver gourd shaped vase. The vase has a single cherry blossom and bud, as well as a number of single cherry blossoms petals carved into the vase. The carving is beautifully done with precised detail and form. Signed by artist, MITSUHARU, on bottom. By well known metal artist, KATSURA MITSUHARU. Born KATSURA YONEJIRO in Tokyo in 1871. In 1882 he became a pupil of Toyokawa Mitsunaga of the Yanagawa School. Yonejiro eventually took on the artist name Mitsuharu. ...click for details

The octagonal shaped hammered vase has a bold serpentine shape on 4 sides and the other 4 sides are each divided into 3 sides. The vase was made for the famous art store in Osaka, SHOBIDO. Japanese early 20th century silver gourd shaped vase. The hand hammered vase is wonderfully made into a natural URI gourd shape. The vase is signed SEIRYOU by the artist on the bottom. Comes with TOMOBAKO, original artist signed wooden storage box. The vase measures 7 1/4" tall and is 4 1/2" wide at the widest.

phoenixes, 1 on each opposite side done in beautifully detailed relief. The other sides have decorative holes , 1 larger than the other. The HIBACHI is standing on 3 feet that are attached to a wooden stand. The HIBACHI measures 8" tall (without stand) and 14" in diameter.

Japanese early 20th century sterling silver natural bamboo shaped flower container. The container is cleverly designed to resemble a natural bamboo flower container with the sides but out to form the handle. A KIRI, pawlonia family crest is stamped into the top handle part. Stamped "pure silver" on bottom, along with signature of artist. Comes with wooden storage box. The container measures 7 3/8" tall by 1 3/8" in diameter.

Japanese TAISHO Period carved wooden RANMA of dragon. The dragon is beautifully carved in high relief and with great detail. The back of the RANMA is also carved and has a rectangular placard with the inscription: TOKYO SHINTOMI-CHO, CHOUKOKU NIN, TAISHO SAN NEN NI GATSU, GOTO SUKEYOSHI, which translated means, Shintomi Town of Tokyo, presently the Ginza area of Tokyo, February of the 3rd year of Taisho (1915), carved by Goto, Sukeyoshi.
