Japanese Mid 20th Century Large Kokeshi Doll
Japanese mid 20th century large KOKESHI NINGYO doll. Signed by the artist on the base. The doll also has seals that state that this style of doll had won prizes at the Japanese National KOKESHI Doll Show. This doll stands 17 5/8" tall and has a 5" diameter head and is 3 3/8" in diameter at the base.
Japanese early 20th century set of 5 musician dolls. The face and hands are done with GOFUN, powder made from oyster shells. Each doll has an elaborate KIMONO made of cloth. The 2 seated dolls in back measures 7" tall, 6" wide and 4" deep and the 3 dolls in front measure 6" tall, 6" wide and 4" deep. Each doll comes with a black lacquer stand with gold lacquer decorating.
Japanese 20th century Boy's Day Samurai helmet set. Comes with original display/storage black box, wooden stand with purple silk and artist and store signature certificates. the artist signature is also on the back of left "horn" of the helmet. The entire piece measures 26" tall, 16" wide and 13" deep. The helmet only measures 11" tall, 14" wide and 9" deep.

This doll stands 18" tall, with a head with a 5" diameter and a base with a 4 1/2" diameter.

Each doll has hair, glass eyes and elaborate costumes. The dolls measure about 4 1/2" tall by 6" wide. There are 2 black hair male dolls and 1 gray haired male doll.
