Japanese early 20th century Koi design cloisonne vase made by Shobido company. Shobido is the name of the famous jewelry and art store in Osaka, Japan, that has been in operation since 1900, or the 33rd Year of the Meiji Period. Shobido has been selling jewelry, fine watches and clocks, Japanese objet d’art and fine Japanese crafts to the well-heeled Japanese and foreign dignitaries and visitors for over 108 years. Japanese early 20th century Ando cloisonne vase in large trumpet shape with modern design. The black cloisonne vase has the design done in white and silver wiring. The rims are marked JUNGIN, or pure silver. The vase has the Ando Cloisonne Company mark on the bottom. No box. The vase measures 11 1/4" tall and 8 5/16" in diameter at the top.
