Japanese mid 20th century pure silver pair of cranes and bronze tortoise on large bronze base. The base is done as a small rocky hill with bamboo growing. Done in a wonderful design with great detail. Each crane is marked JUNGIN, or pure silver. The base is signed KATSUNORI, in back. The entire piece measures 22" wide, 18" tall and 14" deep.

Japanese late 19th century HIRADO ware HOTEI shaped water pitcher. The water pitcher was very cleverly designed. The body of the pitcher is made from HOTEI's good luck bag and the lid to the pitcher is made with HOTEI's fan. The water pitcher measures 5 1/2" tall, 7 3/4" wide and 4" deep.

Japanese early 20th century large pair of Kinkozan vases. Each vase has 2 painted panels, 1 in front and 1 in back. Finely painted with great detail and expression. Panels are placed over dark blue background with overglaze gold decoration. Some of the gold decoration has been rubbed off. One vases has the Kinkozan sticker on the base and the other has only a part of the sticker left. No Kinkozan stamp or signature. Japanese Late 20th century bronze flower holder with snail by NEYA CHUROKU (1897-1987). The holder is leaf shaped with a oval hole cut into the center. The snail is crawling up the side of the center. The holder has 2 holes in back for the flowers. The front side edge of the holder is polished to a high sheen. Neya Churoku, a student of Tsuda Shinobu, exhibited at many exhibitions including the 1933 World Exhibition in Chicago and the 15th Teiten (1934) where he won the Tokusen (grand prize). ...click for details
