Japanese early 20th century KORANSHA porcelain vase
with cormorant and chrysanthemum design. Most of the design is done in underglaze blue with overglaze enamel detailing on the cheeks of the cormorants and on the chrysanthemum blossoms. The vase has hand written stamp on bottom, KORANSHASEI, made by KORANSHA. There is slight restoration to side of foot, hence the low price. See last photo where the dots are. The vase measures 10" tall and 8" in diameter.

Japanese circa 1900 pair of silver vases. The vases have the design of chrysanthemum blossoms done in a wonderful chisel and low relief techniques. Some of the areas are gilded and others are done in Shakudo. Signed on the back of each vase, SEIHOU. ALso each vase has JUNGIN MITSUKOSHI stamped on the bottoms, meaning made of pure silver and from the Mitsukoshi Department Store art salon. Each vase measures 9 5/8" tall by 4 1/2" in diameter.
