Japanese 20th century porcelain vase by Japan Living National Treasure, Tokuda Yasokichi III, born Tokuda Masahiko in Komatsu, Japan. The vase is done in a large cylindrical shape with conical base. Tokuda Yasokichi III became Living National Treasure in 1997 and is recognized for work with Saiyu, glaze color gradation technique. Comes with TOMOBAKO, original artist signed wooden storage box. The vase measures 12 1/4" tall and is 7" in diameter.

Japanese 20th century bronze vase by Living National Treasure bronze artist TAKAMURA TOYOCHIKA (1890-1972). TOYOCHIKA was the son of he famous sculptor TAKAMURA KOUN. In 1908 he became the student of famous bronze artist TSUDA SHINOBU and in 1915 he graduated from the Tokyo School of Fine Arts. He received many awards at TEITEN and other major exhibitions.
