| Japanese 20th century large porcelain vase by FUJII SHUMEI. The large bulbous form is decorated with leaves done in beautifully detail. Signed SHUMEI on bottom. FUJII SHUMEI born in 1936 and living in the Arita area, is a famous porcelain artist who exhibited at the prestigious annual NITTEN show in Japan, among others. He has since retired and his ceramic business has been taken over by his son. Comes with TOMOBAKO, or original artist signed wooden storage box. The vase measures 11 1/2" tall and has a 11 1/2" diameter. | |||||||||||||||
