JAPAN 20TH C. PR. BOTTLES BY LNT TOKUDA YASOKICHI III
Japanese 20th century pair of sake serving bottles by Japan Living National Treasure, Tokuda Yasokichi III, born Tokuda Masahiko in Komatsu, Japan. Each bottle is made in a tall slender form with slightly flared spout. The overall glaze is a dark eggplant color with blue, yellow and green on the top portion. Tokuda Yasokichi III became Living National Treasure in 1997 and is recognized for work with Saiyu, glaze color gradation technique. Comes with TOMOBAKO, original artist signed wooden storage box. Each bottle measures 9 1/2" tall and is 2 1/2" wide. (ruka)
