Japanese Important Satsuma Koro from 1915 SFPP Expo
Japanese important and fine large SATSUMA KORO from the 1915 San Francisco Panama-Pacific International Exposition. The KORO is signed DAI NIPPON YASUI SAKU, made by Yasui of Great Japan. The KORO has the design of SHISHI playing. The SHISHI and floral and geometric designs are precisely done in such wonderfully fine detail. The KORO still has its U.S. customs stamp attached to the bottom. The top of the KORO has been professionally restored. The main body is in excellent condition. The KORO measures 9" tall and 7" wide at its widest point.
