| Japanese Meiji Period lacquered tortoiseshell comb. The base of the comb is tortoiseshell lacquered in gold and brown lacquer with swallow and floral design. The comb has wonderful shell and small gold inlays. Signed on the front lower left hand side. Minor insect damage to teeth. The comb measures 3 7/8" long by 1 1/2" tall. | |||||||||||
