| Japanese Meiji Period lacquered tortoiseshell comb. The base of the comb is tortoiseshell lacquered in gold and brown lacquer with hawk and pine design. The comb has wonderful carved design of a hawk on each side with small gold inlays. Unsigned. Minor rubbing on side edges. The comb measures 3 3/8" long by 1 5/8" tall. | |||||||||||
