Egyptian Faience figure of Wadjet
Lion-headed figure seated on a throne with hands held to the side of the thighs, long tripartite wig,and surmounted by a Uraeus.
Note: Wadjet, the “fiery eye” of the sun god, is the legendary nurse or mother of Horus. And in this capacity the Greeks identified her with Leto, the mother of Apollo. She was considered to be the protector of the Pharaohs.
Dating: Late Period 26th – 30th Dynasty 664-332 BC Material: soft green faience of a very dense quality. Condition : Save to an ancient chip to the left ear intact. Size: 3,4 cm (1 5/16) inch Provenance: Benedict collection collected around 1900.

Research revealed the following information: The shabti must belong to a certain Nes-Pa-Nefer-Her......Very large shabtis are not common during the TIP, So it's very likely that we can identify it easily.
