A CHINESE GE SEAL PASTE BOX, EX DAVISON COLLECTION. A small and well-made porcelain box that has seen use as a container for the oily vermilion paste used with a seal. The box has an overall finely crackled pale grey glaze in imitation of the fabled Song dynasty ware.
