An unusual blue & white plate decorated with willow tree and Chinese cabbage within a scrolling border. The border is very reminiscent of those found on early 18th century English silver with scallop shells joined with arabesques. Chinese porcelain made specifically for export to the West, Kangxi or early Yongzheng.

Approximately 22.9 cm diameter. The condition is very good with only a tiny nibble to the back noted. The foot-rim has a couple of production chips. There are a few crazing lines on the front, hardy seen under normal viewing, these are just on the central design and are in the glaze only. They are not present on the back.
