A CHINESE LAC BURGAUTE BOWL, 18TH CENTURY.
A very attractive lacquer bowl with alternating panels of landscapes and flowers executed in iridescent shell. The lobed bowl is lined with silvered copper as is the foot. Approximately 10.2 cm diameter, 5 cm high. For this type of lacquer this bowl is in unusually good condition with only some surface age cracks.
