A JAPANESE SETO STONEWARE SAKE BOTTLE, 19TH CENTURY.
The stoneware tokkuri covered overall with a clear ash glaze, the mouth with a dripping tenmoku glaze. 19th century. Approximately 24 cm high, weighs 1550 gm. Perfect except for a shallow chip on the foot-rim, noted in the photographs.
