A CHINESE EXPORT SUPPER DISH, QIANLONG, CIRCA 1750.
A couldn't resist this supper dish although it is not in the best condition. I love the painting of the two figures, one perhaps a 'foreigner', who appear to be releasing a caged bird. Approximately 14.6 cm maximum dimension. As found, corner missing, two shallow chips to edge, gilt rubbed.
