A GOOD SATSUMA DISH, SIGNED RYUDO, MEIJI.
A striking 19th century molded dish decorated with swirling flowers in thick gosu blue, green and gold enamels. The back has a gosu Shimizu mon and is signed Ryudo. 6.1/16” maximum width. The dish is in very fine condition though the thick gilding has flaked in some small areas. The finely crazed body has light staining in places. Please study the photographs. I am based in the United Kingdom so charges made to credit cards are in GBP ( British Pounds, £ ) and your credit card issuer automatically converts the charge to your own currency, that is, the currency of your country.
