The tea set decorated in enamels with butterflies and netting on a typical finely crackled body. It dates from 1900 to 1920’s. Signed with a single character on each base.

As a guide the teapot is 5 inches high. The condition is very good overall and the gilding in exceptional condition except for some wear to the net pattern on the lids. The small knob on the teapot lid has been glued back on and I have just noticed a small curved hairline in the unglazed inner rim of the teapot, almost like a chip that has never been knocked out. This cannot be seen of course when the lid is in place. All of the handles and spouts are good and the gilding quite unworn on the bodies. The wear on the lids could easily be retouched with a fine brush.
