A Japanese silver wire cloisonné enamel box and cover decorated with butterflies and flowers. The lid has nicely rounded edges, the bottom is also decorated and the interior has its original silk lining. It has been a difficult to photograph properly, the ground colour I would describe as blue grey slate.

2.7/16 inches (6.2 cm) long. In good original condition. There is a tiny stress line on the bottom edge, near a corner, noted in the detail photographs. Please study the photographs.
