A FINE BURMESE SILVER CEREMONIAL BOWL, 19TH CENTURY.
A high quality repousse silver ceremonial or monk’s begging bowl. The exterior beautifully decorated with a continuous scene, a multitude of figures within a landscape. The silver is of a decent thickness; the approximate weight of the bowl is 570 grams. It is in excellent condition and although I have owned it for a good number of years I have always resisted polishing it. Approximately 7 inches (17.7 cm) diameter, 4.1/8 inches (10.5 cm) high. In good, original, condition. When looking inside the bowl with a strong light outside I can see a few tiny pinholes, these are a result of the deep repousse work rather than over polishing, in fact the bowl exhibits evidence of very little polishing over the years. Please study the photographs. I am based in the United Kingdom so charges made to credit cards are in GBP ( British Pounds ) and your credit card issuer automatically converts the charge to the currency of your country. Payment may also be made by direct bank transfer in GBP as long as all fees are paid by the sender. I am sorry but I cannot accept a cash transfer payment by Western Union, as I don’t have an office nearby. ~~~ IF YOU WISH TO GET A SHIPPING QUOTE, PLACE AN ORDER OR ASK FOR FURTHER INFORMATION PLEASE EMAIL ME ~~~ ~~~ YOU CAN SAFELY PAY USING VISA, MASTERCARD OR AMERICAN EXPRESS BY USING OUR SECURE SERVER, PLEASE EMAIL AND I WILL FORWARD THE LINK ~~~ |
