An unusual plate decorated in Canton in famille rose enamels featuring a striking yellow border. The centre has a charming picture of domestic life. Early to mid nineteenth century.

Approximately 9.3/4 inches (24.7 cm) diameter. The plate has four tiny holes drilled through the rim, probably once to secure basket style handle. Otherwise no chips, cracks or restoration. Some wear to the gilding. Please study the photographs.
