A Chinese Famille Rose Seated Boy, late 18th Century.
A FAMILLE ROSE FIGURE, QIANLONG, 18TH CENTURY.

A Qianlong period porcelain sculpture of a seated boy, ruyi sceptre in one hand, some small, unidentified, object in the other. Beautiful expression. Late 18th century.

Approximately 7.1/2 inches (19.1 cm) high. The head has been neatly broken off, probably on the original luting line, and has been reattached with only a sliver of porcelain missing. This luting line was originally covered with white enamel so if a repair were attempted the join could be easily disguised. There is a chip to the edge of the ruyi sceptre; again this would be an easy repair as it is only on the iron-red area. For accuracy, there is a minuscule loss to the tip of one finger, all noted in the pictures. Please study the photographs.

I am sorry but I cannot accept a cash transfer payment by Western Union, as I don’t have an office nearby.
