This Serene Interior Scene of Mother and Child is in Excellent Condition, Hermann Knopf, (AUSTRIAN, 1870-1928). The painting is dated 1906, Hermann Knopf who enrolled in the Academy of Vienna in 1887 where he was a pupil of J.V. Burger. In 1891 he continued his studies in Munich under the direction of Alexander Liezen-Mayer before completing his studies at the atelier of Fernand Cormen in Paris .
