A beautiful example of snuff bottle art. A fine quality crystal bottle has been painted from the inside of the bottle using the difficult reverse painting technique. It depicts angora cats. Great faces and fine details. It has a carnelian top with brass spoon. It is less than 10 years old. It is about 4" tall and comes with a beautiful brocade gift or storage box.

Top quality crystal snuff bottle that has been painted from the inside. This beautiful bottle is hand painted, not a picture transfer. It has two horses on each side and as you can see it is a good quality of painting. It has an agate top with brass spoon. It is about 3 3/4" tall. It comes with brocade gift box. A great gift, or a great addition to a collection. It is about 10 years old.

This small masterpiece of carving gives evidence that there are still great carvers of Ivory. It is mastadon [mammoth] Ivory and it is legal. It is a beautiful piece of Ivory and the carving equals the quality of the Ivory. It is in the Netsuke style, but it does not have the traditional holes for a cord. It is meant as a decoration in the miniature style. It is from China and it is not old. It is 1 1/2" tall and a solid piece, with a good deal of weight to it. This pair of beasts is probably meant to be a pair of Qilin, horned lions of prosperity in China. They do have a foo dog look. Quite nice, lots of hand modeling of porcelain. Marked on bottom, no damage. A decade or two old. 4 1/4" tall

This very handsome handcarved wood Kachina is signed by the Navajo carver. It is about 9" tall with the Mask on. The Badger mask can be taken off to show dancers face. It is newer in excellent condition with fur and feathers. A very attractive piece of Folk art. I believe the wood to be traditional cottonwood.

Lovely, handmade, complex design cloisonne carp ornament. This piece is new and very well made. It has a body that moves, eyes and fins that move. It has been gold washed and has kiln fired glass enamel fused to the surface. It is an nice size of 4" long. It can be hung or will sit on a surface.

These wonderful and very detailed bronze castings are being done in China. They are lost wax castings and the bronze has not been subjected to a darkening patina so it has its natural yellow color. The best details I have seen. THis container has a removable leaf top and is a lucky double goard shape. It has a pjair of foo dogs on one side and a single foo dog on the other. It is newer and about 5 3/4" tall. Has makers tag on bottom. You can see from the images the very fine details on this ...click for details

The piece of Jade that was used to cut this piece was probably Bowenite. The piece has a wonderful color and has the look of nephrite jade [old jade] but it is not, and it is much less expensive. No one would know that this is less than the real treasure of an Empress. A wonderfull desigh and execution strung with jade ball beads on silk thread. This piece has had two very nice silver hooks to latch it. Top to bottom hang is juct over 12", so it makes for a short pieceg when on an average ...click for details

A very handsome pair of Foo Dogs. Detailed and skilled hand carving. Inset glass eyes. Each Dog is in a Japanese Style on a ball, these are from China. Each is about 2 1/2" wide. They are boxwood that has been stained darker. Not old, but future collectibles.
