Compare the masterful carving on this mammoth ivory snuff bottle to what is now available, it stands far above the rest. It is from China, it is a top quality piece of mammoth ivory, not endangered and legal. It is 2 1/2" tall. Full refund is given if you can show that any of my items are not as listed genuine mammoth ivory and hand carving for example. This piece has wonderful details, the texture of the pear, the ornate spoon and the elegant style of the two birds with worm. A treasure.

Two of the Ebony knights have pieces fo horn and ear missing, base of Ebony King also has a piece missing, but these do not detract from this unique set. Box folds to hold all pieces. I buy my Netsukes and wood carvings from the very best carvers in China. The economy there is changing, cheap labor is gone. Skilled craftsmen are old and no new ones will replace them. This piece is a superior carving, fine details, glass inset eyes. A mama rat and four babies cluster in this charming larger netsuke style fruitwood carving. It is about 1 3/4" tall. One piece of a very hard wood to carve. Carved in China in the Japanese style.
