Nice carving and an attractive piece of fiber quartz. The crystal fibers look like silk threads so this natural crystal formation is often called silk thread quartz. This piece is 3" long and about 1" high. It is over one decade old and a better quality than what you would now find being done. Many of my snuff bottles are now going back to China which is an indication that they are a safe investment that will go up, not down in value.
