Brilliant colors. Very good hand carving. Longevity, Luck and Wealth symbols cover this glass snuff bottle. 2 1/4" tall. Nice shape and a quality that will increase in value as good craftsmanship is lost due to a lack of people in China willing to work for little or nothing on their time honored crafts.

A very attractive, well carved snuff bottle made from Ivory [mastadon, or Hippo] and horn. It is a Chinese carving of a Japanese mask maker. It appears to have orininally been carved as a netsuke and then converted into a snuff bottle. It is about 2 5/8" tall.A good piece of work about a decade or more old.

A very attractive snuff bottle. This piece has been carved using ivory [mastadon or hippo]and horn. It appears to have originally a netsuke that the carvers converted into a snuff bottle. It is Chinese, about a decade or more old. It is 2" tall. A very unique piece.

Very fine and detailed reverse painting. Elegant size and shape. Carnelian stopper, bone spoon. This lovely snuff bottle is about 3 1/4" to top of stopper. Painted within the last decade and done by a master reverse painter. Very good bottle for the money and compared to what China is now doing this is a very good investment.

Beautiful blue glass base color with layering of multi colors. Multi colored cameo glass snuff bottles are more valuable and will continue to increase in value as this very nice one will. It has a matching cap with bone spoon. It is about 3" tall and was carved with in the last decade. Snuff bottles and other objects of art that require skill and time do not go down in value and are a good hedge against our economic struggles.

A very odd snuff bottle. Very high carving done on three layers of Peking glass. The top layer is yellow and almost 3/8" deep. Three heads of Monks or buddhas. Green and white layers underneath. Very nice artistic design. I have never seen one like this and it does stand out as a tiny piece of art. It has carnelian top with bone spoon. It is about 3 1/8" tall. I am not sure of age, I would estimate it is a decade old, or newer. Great item for a collection.

Chinese snuff bottles are a smart investment in a world loosing its fine craftsmen. China is loosing the older better reverse painters. Most newer work is quite horrible. This bottle is quite beautiful. Faces, hands and calligraphy along with other delicate details are outstanding. This bottle also has touches of gold in the interior painting. This agate has very nice colors and matrix. Agate is a brittle and hard stone to carve, the hand carving on this bottle is very attractive and a much better than average for a newer bottle. Foo dog has baby on her back. This bottle is heavy with nice hollowing. It has a carnelian top and bone spoon. It is 3" long and a little over 1" high. A very nice bottle for the price.

This grand pair of toads has gone for an outing. One big fat one atop a friend. It has charm and humor and also exceptional carving. A substantial piece of mastadon ivory of excellent quality. This piece is 2 1/2" tall and 1 1/2" wide and 1" deep. Not old,but by an old master carver. This quality is hard to find and will increase in value as we loose skilled carvers. It is an outstanding addition to a collection.

A tour-de-fource of skilled carving. This is an outstanding, delicate and very ornate piece of mastadon ivory. It has been carved in China by a master carver. It is not old, but I am not sure of exact age. Within the past 20 years I assume. It is of great value for the skill of carving, not for the age. It is 2" tall, 1 1/2" wide and almost 1" deep. The pictures speak for themself and you will not this quality for this price in the short future.
