Over 40 years ago I attended a show with demonstrations by the well known and important Italian ceramicist Marcello Fantoni. I purchased two pieces, unfortunately sold one years ago, but now I offer this classic example of his work. He used glass enamel engobes to color his pieces, he set many style trends. His work is in Museums all over the globe. This undamaged, signed piece is 6 5/8" [16 cm across and 4 cm deep. OUTSTANDING.
