A rare set of 11 hand cut and colored celluloid or similar hard plastic table place cards. By the design and faint use markings I suspect these are French. By the clothing on two females they are probably from the 1920s. I have never seen anything quite like them. They are VERY charming. They could be used, or just put on display as a curio. Tallest is 2 7/8". They are set into hard plastic bases.
