Very nice vintage look. This reverse painted snuff bottle is at least several decades old. It has a traditional "Fairy" angelic maiden. Frosty look of glass indicates the age of these vintage bottles. A nice old survivor in excellent condition. It has Bowenite jade stopper and bone spoon. It is 2 1/2" tall. Old snuff bottles are a great way to secure your money, they do not crash like the stock and realestate markets.

This very nice bone snuff bottle was made before 1960. It has very nice scrimshaw etching of mountain scenes It is 3 1/4" tall. It is made from a solid, very nicely grained piece of bone. Craftamanship you no longer find, in particular in bone snuff bottles. Old ones are raising in price, even in a weak economy. A really good buy and a good piece to save in a collection.

An attractive figure from China made of soft brown porcelain. This type of figure is typical of reformation communist era art that depicted the workers rather than the Gods and Buddhas. It is well made, a very attractive clay figure with great details. I believe he is holding a plane. He is about 4" wide. "CHINA" stamp on bottom helps date the piece.

They have thick gauge copper bodies and brilliant glass enamel colors fired on. They are then electroplated with 24 KT gold. The design on this bottle is a sylized phoenix, symbol of the Empress. The gold is almost always worn or oxidized. This one has the original metal with glass inset spoon and it has no damag ...click for details
